DC Direct Superman/Batman “Public Enemies” Action Figures
The DC Direct line of Public Enemies action figures (find at Amazon.com*) shown in this 2005 magazine advertisement isn’t the only time that the Superman/Batman “Public Enemies” storyline found its way into toys. You see, when the Superman/Batman “Public Enemies” DVD* was released in 2009 there was also a range of Mattel figures based on the series, meaning that you have multiple options when it comes to toys inspired by the Public Enemies story.
Those Mattel Superman/Batman “Public Enemies” action figures* were released when the DC Universe Classics line was hot. Everyone remembers when DC Universe Classics was all the rage and plastered on toy sites across the web, yes?

These were beautiful figures. I have a few of them and they really stand out in a good way. I’m kind of glad that DC Collectibles is getting back into the artist specific lines. he Darwyn Cooke line is quite nice.
