DC Universe Classics Batman Black and Gray at Entertainment Earth
The guys over at Entertainment Earth are at it again, this time opening up pre-orders for the DC Universe Comic-Style Gray Batman action figure. I’ve got a handful of DC Universe Classics action figures but I still don’t have a Batman. I’m not so sure this is the Batman for me, though, but it’s close since it looks a hell of a lot like the Jim Aparo Batman from when I was seriously following the comic. (Ten Nights of the Beast is still one of my favorite Batman stories from that time. Here’s a review of the story if you’re unfamiliar with it. But back to the new toy . . .)
Entertainment Earth Says:
“Borrowing elements from numerous Bat-costumes over the years, the DC Universe Comic-Style Gray Batman Figure is a thing of beauty. There are no splatters or battle damage; this crime fighter has a costume fresh from the dryer! With trademark black cape and cowl, yellow belt, and nifty black and yellow Bat-symbol, this super-articulated, 7-inch scale action figure is a must in any collection. Get one for yourself, and another for your favorite kids! (Your not-so-favorite kids can fend for themselves. The good ones deserve the best!)”
Yeah, this guy’s close to the Aparo Batman but there’s a Batman figure that pretty much nails the Aparo Batman. That’s the one I wanna find.
