Decepticon Planes 36% Off in 1985

The December 1 1985 issue of the Reading Eagle newspaper includes this wonderful Transformers ad in which the Decepticon jets are listed on sale for $11.99/each. Awesome price, but in looking at this I realize that the jets were a bit pricier than I realized. Almost $20/each regular price? I could have grabbed six Autobot Mini-Cars for that price!
