Decepticon Pretender Monsters at KayBee Toys in 1989

After the recent KayBee Toys Powermaster Optimus Prime newspaper advertisement, I felt it important to see what other Transformers toys we could find for sale at KayBee in the eighties. I soon found this October 5, 1989, newspaper ad in the Decatur, Illinois, Herald and Review and was instantly reminded that what’s old is new again; this ad block for the Decepticon Pretender Monsters should remind you of the new Hasbro Prime Master toys that are in stores now.
