Disney’s Tron Coming to Sideshow Collectibles?
Maybe. The latest Ask Sideshow* included the following question:
“Will you be making 1:6 and Premium Format figures from Disney licenses such as Tron** and The Black Hole***? A PF of Maximilian and V.I.N.C.E.N.T. would rock as would an electroluminescent Tron figure and Lightcycle. Will you also be producing items from the upcoming Tron Legacy?”
And the answer makes me happy:
“We’re currently licensed to create Premium Format style Disney character products, but it’s a safe bet that we’ll look to expand our Disney range in the future. We do have an interest in Tron Legacy… stay tuned!”

I love my Tron re-releases. I bought a whole bunch of the Neca figures when they re-issued them several years back. I think it’s a safe bet that someone will be making some Tron Legacy toys next year. It’s Disney…they can’t not make toys.
I let me just say that I might squee like a little school girl if anyone released some Black Hole figures or toys. I need a Maximilian…or a nice little desktop-sized model of the Cygnus would be pretty bitchin too. Lets all just hope they don’t try to remake Black Hole…please…
