“Don’t Get Left Out In The Cold!”
Decipher’s Star Wars CCG (find at Amazon.com*) has been dead for close to two decades, and yet even in death there are fans of the game. A lot of the dead collectible card games of the nineties sell today for pennies on the dollar, but the Star Wars game cards are still in demand, with a strong market for singles as well as sealed packs and starters. It was a great game, and combined with a strong license, fans just keep on collecting!

The above advertisement for the game’s Hoth expansion comes from the January 1997 issue of InQuest magazine. This would have been from the era when I was playing the game casually, and I even bought a few of the boosters from this expansion and shuffled cards into play. It would be awesome if someone made a deal to update the mechanics of this game and bring back a new version of this Star Wars CCG . . . with the Star Wars license!
