Dungeons & Dragons 1985 Yellow Label Sale
In 1985, this special offer from TSR looked like a great deal for fans of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*), but with history to guide us we now understand that this was just one part of TSR’s attempt to improve their cash flow at the time. Empire of Imagination* does a great job of giving us a peek behind the scenes at TSR when this ad would have been new, and the picture the book paints of TSR’s history isn’t always bright and cheery. A fantastic read if you’re at all interested in the origins and history of Dungeons & Dragons.
