Dungeons & Dragons and “The Ultimate in Adventure Games” in 1980

I recently ran across a 1980 issue of Isaac Asimov’s Science Fiction magazine and took a few moments to flip through its battered pages. Surprise, kids! The very first thing to appear in the magazine is this advertisement for TSR’s Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*) so I just had to buy the magazine. Well worth the $2, right?
