Earl Norem and the Fantastic Four in 1984
Yesterday I shared some art from Earl Norem that he created for Transformers in 1985. Well, that wasn’t Norem’s first work with Marvel Books: take a look at these sample paintings from The Isle of Danger, a storybook that was created to promote the Secret Wars line. Awesome stuff!
I wouldn’t have this book if it hadn’t been part of a lot of eighties storybooks, but I’m glad it fell into my hands because the artwork is as fabulous as we expect of Earl Norem. And check out this shot of the Thing fighting an octopus. Yeah, that’s part of the story.
