Elder Sign: Gates of Arkham Coming in 2015
Expanding on their Elder Sign* dice game, Fantasy Flight Games is set to release a second expansion to the line next year with Elder Sign: Gates of Arkham. What I love most about the Elder Sign* dice game is that it packs the theme and fun of Arkham Horror series* into a much smaller package.
And the new Gates of Arkham expansion is set to give us even more Arkham Horror series* levels of fun in a faster game, with the expansion adding adventure in Arkham. The official announcement shared this exciting tidbit about the gameplay:
Gates of Arkham takes the struggle against the Ancient Ones out of the museum and into Arkham, where monsters lurk in darkened alleyways and bystanders become the victims of gang rivalries. In the featured Streets of Arkham game mode, new Arkham Adventures and Mythos decks replace the original Adventure and Mythos decks, sending investigators on adventures throughout the city as four new Ancient Ones threaten to arise. Only by braving the city’s ubiquitous perils can you triumph against the ancient and awakening evil.
Sounds like a lot of fun to me!
