Electronic Games Magazine and Electronic Stratego in 1982
Here’s more from the October 1982 issue of Electronic Games Magazine that’s worth a quick peek. Electronic toys and games were a big deal in the late seventies and early eighties, and this magazine article takes a peek at a reinterpretation of the classic Stratego boardgame (Amazon.com search*) as an eletronic game.
“Electronic Stratego is a prime example of what computer wizardry can do for a classic. Gamers who cut their teeth on Milton Bradley’s boardgame Stratego will find this high-tech version greatly improved by sophisticated electronics.”
A great little article/review of a version of Stratego I’ve never played. Actually, I can’t remember playing any computerized version of Stratego. It’s time I look to see if the game’s available on the iPad.
