Elegab’s Kaiju Cyborg Daburunga Pre-Orders Open
Elegab (website) has opened up pre-orders for their new Kaiju Cyborg Daburunga vinyl toy and it is one insanely weird and fun design. I reviewed the Elegab Shuttlegon earlier this year (review here), and I’ve been waiting for a chance to get another Elegab toy and it looks like this is it. The toy is being made to order, so for $140 (toy plus shipping) I can have one. Ouch! That’s a lot of cash for an 11-inch tall vinyl toy. Especially one that’s an open order like this.

The unpainted works out to about $93, which is still a lot but not quite as terrifying as grabbing the painted version. And because using online calculators and dreaming is free I went ahead and ran the numbers to buy one painted and one unpainted version of the toy: $223 for the two toys and shipping! Japanese vinyl toys may look awesome, but you sure pay for that awesomeness.
