Entertainment Earth Wants You to “Get Tony Stark’s Heart”
The Iron Man movie was okay but I didn’t quite fall all over myself shouting its greatness like a lot of comic geeks did. For me, the movie tried too hard and the plot was less “dramatic story” and more “asplode now!” It wasn’t bad, but I didn’t think it was the greatest superhero movie ever like some people did. (For the record, I did like Iron Man a lot more than I did The Dark Knight but that’s another story.)
Anyway, what I’m trying to get at is that the movie did well enough to support some fairly high-end collectibles and toys. Example? This $150 statue that Entertainment Earth is now selling:
Get Tony Stark’s Heart
“Based on the design from last year’s hit movie, the Iron Man Movie Arc Reactor Replica brings the nifty little contraption home. It sits in a clear box, ready to show the world that, in fact, Tony Stark has a heart. This metal recreation of the makeshift reactor may not save your life, but it’ll certainly look interesting in your home or office. Order yours today!”
