Exclusive Henkei Classics Strafe on Clearance at BBTS
I mentioned this Transformers Exclusive Henkei Classics Strafe over a year ago (mentioned here), but now he’s knocked down 50% over at Big Bad Toy Store. It’s just a Cyclonus (review here) repaint, but this is exactly the sort of Transformers toy that demands big bucks a few years after it is released. Cool colors. And just imagine how awesome it would be to pose him alongside the Shattered Glass Cyclonus . . . which is also still up at Big Bad Toy Store. Now I’m wondering how many repaints there have been of this design.
Versions – Henkei (light purple); Hasbro (dark purple); Shattered Glass; Strafe.
@DoctorKent – I’ve also seen the 3 pack Cyclonus (with Galvatron and Rodimus) and the 2 pack (with Rodimus), but the pics haven’t made it completely clear how the colors compare.
But that’s a lot of Cyclonus repaints.
I’m not going to take the plunge on the 3 pack, but I will be getting the two pack. Remind me of this when they are released! I will take a pic.
The 3 pack might be identical, as the Henkei is already a light purple…but those wings aren’t chromed, are they? (looked it up)

Now the only question will be if the 3 pack and the 2 pack are the same. The pics look different, but we know how pics can be deceiving.
@DoctorKent – I found the 3 pack at a decent price and ordered one. And I have the 2 pack on order through the TFClub; I’ll have to post pics of the Cyclonus army.
