Exclusive Marvel Select Iron Cap Figure at Big Bad Toy Store
The guys over at Big Bad Toy Store sent out notice that this new Iron Cap figure is now available. I think this is the second version of this character I’ve seen, but I can’t be certain since I haven’t been collecting the various Iron Man action figures from the movie or Marvel Select lines. Anyone know about this figure?
“This figure comes from the cover art for What If? Civil War #1. The character is actually Captain America (Steve Rogers), going into battle in a suit created for him by his friend and fellow Avenger Iron Man (Tony Stark), and the figure is Big Bad Toy Store’s latest Marvel Select exclusive. Limited to only 2000 pieces!”
There was a Cap repaint in the Iron Man movie line that included the shield, and now this one. It’s almost too bad that they released this version when they could have released the more current Norman Osborn Iron Patriot suit using the same mold, which has a slightly different ‘Cap’ paint job. I’d bet we see one or the other in the Marvel Universe line.
