FansProject Glacialord Pre-Orders Open on March 2
Visit the FPCore website on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 2pm to pre-order the second run of the Glacialords transforming robot toys. The company is offering both the first two limbs (which I already have) and the complete set of five, so it looks like if I want to collect the entire team I need to pre-order the larger set . . . which leaves me with duplicates of the first two. Well, if I am at the computer and make this happen then it’s obvious that I’ll need to run a contest and give away the first two toys.
If you’re not familiar with the set, the entire Glacialord team is a five robot combiner pack that’s intended to look as if it was created in 1986 or 1987. Blocky, simplistic, and ready to combine, the robots are transforming robot toys that could have come from the original Transformers line, but the reality is that these are completely new characters and designs. It’s a pretty neat idea.

Wow, retro is making a comeback. It’s both fun and perplexing that this exists.
