FansProject Unofficial Transformers Weirdwolf Now Available

This FansProject toy went up for pre-order way back in April (mentioned here), and now it’s available for sale at site sponsor TFSource . . . just in case you’re after a new third party Transformers Headmaster toy.

Their first release in the series, Code, is an incredible piece with an impressive transformation that’s fun and not frustrating or painful to play with. And it’s for that reason that I’m looking forward to this Quadruple-U version of the old Weirdwolf (see the TFWiki) updated from his 1987 design.

  1. I liked the original Weird Wolf, but I really love this figure – the first time you transform him is a “whoah” feeling that all TF fans should experience.

    1. Is it as much fun to transform as Code? That not-Chromedome really surprised me with how clever the design was. And without being a frustrating nightmare to transform.

  2. This one seems to be a lot more straightforward with its transformation, maybe that means the articulation will be even more stellar?

  3. Mine was waiting when I got home so I plan to crack him open this weekend and play with him. Fingers are crossed here in the hopes that it is as nice as it appears to be.
