Fantasy Flight Games and Games Workshop Deal at an End

The announcement was made last month, several web sites have posted about it, and already we’re seeing aftermarket prices of various games rise. The first to spike in price appear to be the print-on-demand expansions for different Games Workshop-based games — the Space Hulk: Death Angel expansions* and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay card packs* — look to have been hit the hardest, but it is only a matter of time before an entire library of fabulous games cost us a lot more money.

Fantasy Flight Games often holds a great Black Friday sale, and with any luck they’ll have stock of some of the various Games Workshop-licensed boardgames and card games up at decent prices. I’ve scored a lot of the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay third edition releases in their annual sales, and this year I’ll keep a close eye on the sale for deals. Some titles, though, are already gone and if you’re interested in them I suggest grabbing them today before the prices shoot much higher.
