Fantasy Flight Games Announces “Age of War” Dice Game
Despite some bickering at BoardGameGeek about how the game is a reskin of Hasbro’s Risk Express, the upcoming Age of War dice game from Fantasy Flight Games is on my “I need this” list of new games. Risk Express is a blast, and the overview and initial information on Age of War tells me I’ll love this one.
Age of War is a fast-paced dice game for two to six players, designed by Reiner Knizia and set among the warring states of feudal Japan. In the game, you and your fellow players take on the roles of rival daimyos attempting to unite the Japanese clans by mustering your troops and conquering castles.
