Fast Company Talks Archie, Zombies, and the Future
The Fast Company magazine (at Amazon.com*) continues to entertain me. I’m quite happy with the subscription I’ve got, but I am even happier with their website and the variety of fun articles they post every day.
From technology to politics to everything else imaginable, the site and magazine are educational . . . and quite random, as the article “How Archie Comics’ New Chief Creative Officer is Reimagining Riverdale”. I knew things had been shaking up over there for years now — hell, even Norm Breyfogle has been illustrating Archie comics — but this article really clued me in on what’s new and fun in the world of Riverdale.
It’s not the mind-blowing article that will change your life today, but it’s a fun peek at an attempt to take an older property and modernize it. An Archie movie inspired by The Evil Dead? That could get really weird and fun in all of the wrong ways.
