Figma “Berserk” Guts Action Figure at AmiAmi
I know I just pointed at the AmiAmi site yesterday (see “Metroid Samus Figma Action Figure at AmiAmi”), but that isn’t going to stop me from sending you back to the site for what looks like another excellent Figma action figure: Berserk Guts Black Soldier.
As with pretty much all of the anime/manga that exists in the world I know nothing about the Berserk series that this is based on (see Wikipedia), but I do know that this fantasy-styled action figure looks great. The sword is a bit ridiculous — really, that’s insanely huge — but the armor, cloak, and bulk of the character design all look wonderful to me.
I’m afraid there may be more Figma action figures in my future . . .

Damn, missed the Amiami preorder. The anime series is my favorite of all time, much better than I’d ever anticipated from the old Dreamcast game. I did a review of the old Art of War fig over at IH, which is much bigger, but bound to be blown away by this guy. Can’t wait for the new movies and absolutely can’t wait for the figures.
I’ve no idea what it’s about either and yeah, that sword is silly but that aside, that’s a very cool figure.

Gonna get this one if it comes out, and trust me guys, if you follow the series and see the things this guy has to fight,then you would wish the guy had a bigger sword. 🙂

@Luis: Here’s hoping for an absurdly oversized superarticulated Zodd. I’d take one of those in any form they decided to make.
