Find Your Fate and G.I. Joe
As my Each Sold Separately book project comes to the finish line (Kickstarter project) I continue to tweak and improve on the pages, pulling content out and dropping new content in as I try to make the book better than it was the day before. One such update I just finished was scanning in higher-resolution book covers for the pages that discuss gamebooks, and because there just aren’t great images of these online I thought I’d share the scans here.
These particular G.I. Joe “Find Your Fate” gamebooks (Amazon.com search*) are from 1986 and 1987, and as the yojoe.com books page tells us the line ran from 1985 to 1987. The cover art is beautiful; Hasbro, please produce a book that shares all of that eighties painted G.I. Joe artwork!

I love gamebooks! Never saw the G.I. Joe ones in person, but would have bought as many as possible as a kid if I’d known about them!
