G.I. Joe Cobra Rattler Jet at K-Mart in 1984

One thing I have learned over the last few years after assembling books of old newspaper ads (Collect These Figures and Accessories*, A Galaxy of Action Figure Savings*, and Modern Army Action Figures) is that you can never find all of the advertisements. There always seems to be one more hiding out in the wild, as proven by today’s discovery of a 1984 newspaper with a different advertisement for the Cobra Rattler. I should probably be happy that the past keeps on giving, but part of me can’t help but be sad that this one escaped me until now.
