G.I. Joe Dragonfly, Hovercraft, and Action Figures

The printer should be wrapping up manufacturing of my new G.I. Joe book soon, meaning that I may get to mail out all of the hardcovers to the Kickstarter backers before I head out to Europe next month. I’m off to the Essen show, with a weekend vacation in Amsterdam before the show, so I’ve got my fingers crossed that the book will come in without issue; mailing all of those out before I leave would go a long way toward making the trip more enjoyable.

One G.I. Joe newspaper ad not in the book is from 1984 (page 144 in the Google newspaper archives link) showing off the Dragonfly, Hovercraft, Rattler, and G.I. Joe action figures. And yes, I am certain the Rattler appears in this ad. It is in the dark box with the $11.99 price tag.
