G.I. Joe S.H.A.R.C. Blueprints and Instructions
I shared a 1985 newspaper ad for the G.I. Joe S.H.A.R.C. earlier this year (posted here), where the toy was listed on sale for only $7.97. Wow! One thing I remember from the eighties is that Hasbro’s G.I. Joe toys really felt like a bargain relative to the price of Transformers toys. I know now the costs were because of the manufacturing complexities, but back then, all I knew is that G.I. Joe felt like a steal when you would get a figure and a vehicle for prices like this.

The other thing I enjoyed about the G.I. Joe toys, other than the value, was the pack-in blueprints and even the assembly and sticker instructions. Those blueprints are a work of art all their own, as demonstrated by the above blueprints for the S.H.A.R.C.. Seriously, this is incredible artwork!
