As a kid, I was most into Hasbro’s G.I. Joe series (Amazon.com search*) in late 1986, making this newspaper ad from November 20, 1986 square in the center of my childhood fascination with the G.I. Joe action figures and comics. And how could anything be cooler than a look at the Terror Drome playset from that year?
