G.I. Joe Top Secret Dispatch Expires in 1986
I shared one G.I. Joe mail-away form earlier this week, and now it’s time for a second blast from three decades ago with this G.I. Joe Top Secret Dispatch flyer. Even though the promotion lists a 1986 copyright date, the early 1986 expiration date makes me think this actually shipped out in 1985.
I love how Hasbro invested energy in describing multiple adventures that were designed around the offered toys. Stories sell, kids, and Hasbro knew and embraced this way back in the eighties.
