G.I. Joe Trading Card Game “Armored Strike” Advertisement
I completely forgot about this game! Back in 2004 and 2005 Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast released a G.I. Joe trading card game — as well as one expansion, Armored Strike — and it wasn’t until I was going through Scrye magazine issues over the last weekend that I even remembered the game. I never once played the game — or even took a close look at it — but seeing this ad leaves me asking myself: Why not?
The game doesn’t seem to be all that expensive on Amazon.com*, so I may have to score a starter set just to get a close look at the card design and the game mechanics. Well, a closer look than I can already get at both yojoe.com and BoardGameGeek since both sites have some info about the game.

@William Noetling – Thank you! I’m sending over mail now.
I played this with my friend’s son. I was disappointed it didn’t last so long. It was fairly simple though.
@Jonny – Simple sounds about right for the target age. I’m looking forward to seeing just how it all works.
