December 8, 1982. Hasbro’s G.I. Joe series was once again new to stores at this time, coming back after being off shelves for a few years. The brand would go on to be one of the biggest successes in boys’ toys of the eighties, partly because Hasbro wasn’t afraid to push the licensing of G.I.
