Yesterday’s G.I. Joe ad also included this block showcasing Galoob’s Blackstar action figures, meaning that those Blackstar fans in the audience can get a peek at this obscure line and how kids of 1983 saw it listed for sale. I’ve uncovered very few Blackstar newspaper ads (just three, the other two posted here and here) and there’s not a lot of info about the line online.
