Garbage Pail Kids Games!
One of the reasons I’m unhappy with missing NYCC this year (besides the fact that I hate missing a trip to New York) is that we released a new game at the show! Garbage Pail Kids: Super Snot Shots is a limited edition dexterity game that was released at NYCC yesterday as part of our announcement that Steve Jackson Games is producing a Garbage Pail Kids dice game in 2015!
If you’re at NYCC swing by the Steve Jackson Games booth — 2265 — where you can both try and buy a copy of the Garbage Pail Kids: Super Snot Shots game. I designed this with Sam, and it is a quick little game where you flick dice at target cards. Next year’s dice game is larger and more involved where this one’s quite goofy and can lead to cursing and laughing when you find out just who can flick dice . . . and who is in need of some hand-eye coordination lessons.
For more info check the official press release and the Garbage Pail Kids: Super Snot Shots webpage. As I get time I’ll post updates about next year’s dice game, trying my best to share the secrets of the design and development process as it all comes together. Expect the dice game to hit stores next summer, just in time to celebrate 30 years of Garbage Pail Kids!
