Gentle Giant Bringing Marvel’s Secret Wars to Jumbo Collectors!
Go now to the Gentle Giant website because the company just had to go and announce 12-inch scale versions of the classic 1984 action figures. That’s right, kids! The Mattel Secret Wars action figures of the eighties are coming next year . . . and first up is Spider-Man in his black costume!
Okay, this is fantastic. BUT life and reality must step in and stop me from pre-ordering these toys. I’m already snagging the 12-inch scale Star Wars Jumbo Vintage action figures and I must admit there isn’t space or cash to grab every single line Gentle Giant produces. I had to share, though, because it’s now 30 years since Secret Wars was on shelves and knowing that these will exist is just too cool not to post the link and image.
What are they gonna make next? Jumbo versions of classic Transformers toys?

I would love the Wolverine from this — I was a little young for Secret Wars on first release, but some of the toys looked like great fun.
I’d love to see Super Powers get an upscaled release — would be all over a Supes and Green Lantern in that style!
