Gentle Giant’s 2012 Collectors’ Club Reveal

Gentle Giant (website, Twitter) have revealed their 2012 Collectors’ Club (info on the club at their site) exclusives and I immediately spotted the piece I’m going after this year: a new Republic Commando mini-bust! Fantastic, and this is going to look amazing with the four other Republic Commando mini-busts (search for Republic Commando busts at Amazon.com*) that I already own.

Painstakingly crafted and cast in high quality poly-stone, The Republic Commando Mini Bust also features a light-up visor! This strictly limited edition hand numbered collectible comes complete with a matching certificate of authenticity.

Based on the teaser shot I this appears to be a repaint/rerelease of the Republic Commando Scorch mini-bust* . . . but that’s fine with me since a recolor with lights will look remarkable with the other four pieces in my collection.

Gentle Giant says that the full details on this year’s Collectors’ Club exclusives will be revealed next week. I’m ready to re-up and absolutely ready for this new Republic Commando mini-bust. And while we wait for that one to arrive I should post reviews of the four others in the series that I already own.
