Gentle Giant’s Jumbo R2-D2 and C-3PO

Gentle Giant (website, Twitter) is now taking pre-orders on the “Jumbo Vintage” C-3PO and R2-D2 action figures. I know that reviews on this series have been mixed, but I’ve gotta say that these photos of the jumbo figures next to the vintage figures makes them look like a lot of fun.

And R2-D2 even has his “clicking” head! But not until 2012 . . . these guys are a long, long way away.
