Go-Bots’ Thruster Was One Ugly Toy
I’m not a fan of the old Go-Bots toys or cartoon but I keep spotting toys from the line that I’d like to grab. But then every now and then I see one of the pieces like Thruster and I remember just how cheap and ugly most of the toys looked. This may be a massive transforming robot/playset, but it’s still an ugly design.
I have Thruster.
Not much else to say other than that…it’s fun?
I would have loved it as a kid. I absolutely adored my GoBots Command Center. I wish I still had that thing!
I had a few GoBots and they were nowhere near as fun or interesting as Transformers. I’m not sure if they were targeted at a different age level, but I seem to remember GoBots being much easier to transform and being far less articulated.
Needless to say, GoBots were the “red shirts” in my childhood robot battles.
