Good Bye, Carmine Infantino
The great Carmine Infantino (website, Wikipedia) has died. I found the news at the Statue Marvels forum, and can only say that this is a sad day for fans of classic comics.
I wrote about Infantino a few years ago — see My Favorite Star Wars Artist? — and I am now regretting passing on an original Star Wars comic page when I had the chance a couple of years ago.
