Graham Franciose’s “Fables” Starts at Austin Art Garage Tonight
You can thank me now, Austin, because I’m on the road which means that it’s time for another interesting show at Austin Art Garage. Today the Graham Franciose “Fables” show opens, but since it runs through April I need to see if Gina would enjoy visiting the “Garage” once I get back home.
“As adults our whimsical imagination often fades. That’s not the case with Graham Franciose, his imagination is in full swing and is vibrantly reflected in his new body of art work aptly dubbed Fables. Often sweet and occasionally ominous, Graham captures the pure spirit of innocence and wonder within our imaginations.”
When: Thursday | March 25 | 6pm – 9pm (on display March 25 – April 25)
Where: Austin Art Garage (2200 S. Lamar Blvd – Behind Strut)
Admission is FREE!
“At the opening reception art viewers can interact with the works by posting a collage of their own stories on 5×7 index cards next to the art. Several of the best stories will win gallery wrapped archival prints of Graham’s work.”
That show looks neat! Of course I would like to go.
