As I dig, I continue to find old newspaper advertisements for the Dungeons & Dragons* roleplaying game, showing proof that the game was a far greater success decades ago than it is today. The new edition has seen a surge in popularity, yes, but do you see many ads in mainstream publications like this November 13, 1981, Honolulu Star-Bulletin newspaper?
