Happy Dredd Day!

I usually don’t bother, but this year I decided to take today off for my birthday. The plan is to hang around the house and read, get some writing done, and maybe even go out into the garage and paint. But first on the list is reading, and I’m just about finished reading through Judge Dredd: Mega-City Masters 01*.

This 272-page softcover collects Dredd stories from the last thirty years, and there’s a lot in here I’ve never read before. I have never been a Dredd collector — I read several stories in high school but those were all borrowed books — so this collection is perfect for anyone who wants just a taste of Dredd. And what’s cool is that there are two more volumes out there . . . can you guess what will be arriving at my house later this week?
