Happy May the 4th!
To celebrate May the 4th and Star Wars I have posted a new Flickr album sharing page spreads from a secret new book. Choose These Figures and Accessories — subtitled “An Unofficial Look at Star Wars Newspaper Ads, 1977 to 1986” — reveals why I’ve been reconstructing and sharing so many Star Wars newspaper ads over the last year. I hope that you enjoy these sample pages, and don’t miss the Flickr album for more.
I’m down to the final days of the project and will test Amazon’s Createspace service. If the quality of the sample book from Createspace is where I want it then the book project will be finished and go live. If the quality isn’t there — I’m worried about the paper and color quality — then I’ll instead change gears and go with the printer I’ve worked with over the last few years.
See the Flickr album for more sample pages.

This is fantastic news! Your books just keep getting better and better, and I look forward to getting my hands on one of these.
I’m also very curious to hear your thoughts about the Createspace process and product, so hopefully you will post a “warts and all” review at some point.
@Brian – Thank you! And yes, I will post opinions of the Createspace quality once I get the sample/test.
Wow, those are some spectacular layouts! Love the mix of the toys with the ads. Looking forward to this one!!
@Jay – Thanks. I expect to have the Createspace sample before the end of May. Then I’ll decide what happens next.
