Hasbro Stuntsters on Sale in 1982

I posted a 1983 ad for the Stuntsters last month, and now it is time for a look at the Hasbro Stuntsters in the line’s first year of release. According to this 1982 ad the toys were first priced at $3, and now that I have managed to buy a couple of them — I should share these toys with you guys — I suspect that the reason the line died so fast is that $3 feels like a lot for these toys in 1982. A Star Wars action figure was $3 in 1982, and I know which of the two toys I would have selected.
