Hasbro’s G.I. Joe in the Dictionary of Toys and Games in American Popular Culture
Google’s various archives are a fabulous resource when working on a new project, and while assembling reference material and researching my new book I ran across the Google archive for the 2004 book, Dictionary of Toys and Games in American Popular Culture*. How have I not ordered this book before today?
Oh. Now I know. When checking the book on Amazon.com* many of the prices are $50 or higher. Those are the hardcovers, though, and I just ordered myself a softcover copy of the book for less than $10. I know that Google’s archive shows the complete G.I. Joe section, but when possible I like to buy the references that go into building a new book . . . and besides, I am betting there’s more fun and useful information inside the book.
