Hasbro’s Visionaries Action Figures $4.99/each

December 20, 1987. That ad for the Visionaries Lancer Cycle (posted here) sent me off in search of more old newspaper ads for the Visionaries toys, rapidly uncovering this McAllen, TX, Monitor newspaper ad for Medico Discount Drugs and this block for single Visionaries action figures. I’m starting to think that $4.99 was a pretty standard price for the toys when they were new.
