Hello, Brute Danny Launching Today
Today at 1 pm PST (that’s 11 am for you guys in CST) you can attempt to grab your very own Danny from the Hello, Brute Shop. Even though these are resin pieces, and appear to be quite popular, the design of these toys doesn’t excite me all that much. They’re neat and all, but they definitely don’t excite me enough to drop $100 on one.
I will admit, though, that I love the custom packaging for these guys. Hand-illustrated boxes? Nice touch.
The shop says:
“Hand-cast in polyurethane resin and hand-painted. Each one comes with it’s own unique hand-drawn box.
8.5 inches tall. Signed and numbered edition of 5.
Release date: Monday June 15, 2009. 1pm west coast time.
These are hand-made by me in my studio. This means you can expect some airbubbles and imperfect lines, so purchase only if you’re into that sort of thing.
