Unofficial Transformers Hercules Assembly
At the moment I have four of the six pieces to the unofficial Transformers Devastator toy, Hercules. I’ve already posted reviews of three of the transforming robot toys — Structor review here, Heavy Labor review here, Exgraver review here — and have started work on reviewing Dr. Crank, but today marks the first day that I’ve started connecting the various robots together to form Hercules.
My very first thoughts as I snapped the parts together was “this works pretty nicely.” The connections feel stable and aren’t difficult to make, and popping each piece to the other only took a moment or two. The assembled form is both larger than I was expecting and not as large as I expected; I know that sounds weird, but depending on which piece I’m holding I get different impressions of the overall size of Hercules. But now that I have snapped parts together I can say that I’m still impressed; this is a highly recommended set of unofficial Transformers toys.
