Gentle Giant creates some of the greatest Star Wars statues and busts you can buy, and this Animated Slave Leia Maquette* is an excellent piece for the classic trilogy fan who wants a more cartoonish take on Princess Leia and Jabba’s prisoner. It’s not an especially large statue, but it is definitely an impressive one.

Jabba’s Palace Bookends*

Another design from Gentle Giant, these bookends are as much a functional part of a book collection as they are statues. This is one of those pieces I keep wanting and just haven’t brought myself to buy. Maybe this will show up as a gift one of these days. It’s either that or I need to break down and order the set for myself before it becomes tough to find and starts demanding scary prices on eBay.

The Ultimate Action Figure Collection*

This book just arrived last week and it is already the best Star Wars action figure guide in my collection. age after page of photos and information on 35 years of action figures, I think what I like most about this book is how each photo shows the toy nicely while the text tells us what is reuse, what is new, what is repaint, and makes me wish I had collections of specific characters. My only complaint with the book is that it is focused on action figures and not accessories, playsets, and everything else.

Boba Fett ArtFX+ Statue*

The entire ArtFX+ statue series is impressive, and what I find truly amazing is that they have more than one Boba Fett statue. This Boba Fett* is the Return of the Jedi design and the statue is so new that it’s official release date isn’t until tomorrow. A good choice for any Boba Fett fan.
