Hong Kong Toy Shopping on a Sunday
Toy shopping in Hong Kong is equal parts scavenger hunt and shopping trip. Many of the stores are hidden gems, locked away in basements or high up in buildings that don’t quite look like shopping centers. I went out today at about noon and wandered through a few buildings, uncovering some shops I’d never seen before.

Man, seeing all of these really makes me yearn for a toy selection that doesn’t consist of 1000 Bumblebees warming the pegs. I’d kill for a littly variety in the US toy stores.
@Paul – One shop I walked in had about a dozen of that Windcharger/Wipeout Transformers United pack. If it had been marked down I would have grabbed a few more copies to use as trade bait.
