Hot Toys’ 12-Inch Scale Blade Action Figure at Sideshow Collectibles
Based on Wesley Snipes’ character in Blade II* — which I’ve only seen once, but once was enough because it wasn’t exactly great enough that I want to see it again — Hot Toys’ 12-inch scale Blade action figure** is now available for pre-order at Sideshow Collectibles.
As with all of the Hot Toys action figures this guy’s expensive — $160 — but again, as with all of their action figures, he looks fantastic. The face sculpts on their 12-inch scale action figures are always almost perfect representations of the actors/characters that they’re duplicating in 3d.
And as good as the face sculpt looks, it’s the gear that’s included with the action figure that really completes the package. The photos shown here give you a good idea of what to expect from the action figure, but if you’re interested in this specific figure (or just this scale) hit the Sideshow Collectibles website for more pics. I love how the stakes slip into the thigh pouches (hey, it’s almost as if Rob Liefeld designed this character; we need more thigh pouches!).
