Hots Toys’ Upcoming 12″ Tony Stark (Mech Test Version)

Damn, those guys at Hot Toys are at it again with another 12-inch scale Iron Man action figure that’s sure to make a lot of collectors very happy as soon as he ships.

“The 1/6th scale IRON MAN Tony Stark specially features: Newly sculpted head with authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark in the movie IRON MAN; Approximately 30 cm tall figure; ABS material TrueType body with newly designed chest, forearms and forelegs; 34 points of articulations; Two pairs of interchangeable hand palms; LED-lighted heart device, hand gauntlet and boots (battery operated); Real-like mechanically wired hand gauntlet and boots; Each piece of head sculpt is specially hand-painted.”

And that wasn’t quite enough for the crew building this thing. They just had to keep adding more . . .

Amazing. I don’t see a price yet, but there’s no reason not to expect this to be priced around the same amount as the previously-released 12-inch scale Iron Man Mark One (mentioned here) and Mark Three (mentioned here) action figures.
