“How we made Action Man” at The Guardian
Here’s a post at theguardian.com for all of the G.I. Joe fans in the audience. If you have read GI Joe: The Complete Story of America’s Favorite Man of Action* (and if you haven’t then do that today!) then you’ve heard these stories before, but it’s still great to see the press giving G.I. Joe some attention.
The article is all about the Palitoy Action Man line, yes, but the blurring of lines between Action Man and G.I. Joe means that the two are forever connected. The story of flocked hair told in GI Joe: The Complete Story of America’s Favorite Man of Action* is far more detailed, but even this abridged tale in the Guardian post is a fun read and a great start to Friday.
